History<\/h3>\n

As the first grocery shop, Korail was founded in 2000 by Jean Marc ESPALIEU with the customary authorities of the island with the aim of lower prices and defending the purchasing power of Loyalty consumers.<\/p>\n

The customary knowledge of Mr. JM Espalieu allowed the establishment of Korail in a strategic location on the island: the capital of Lifou, precisely at the tribe of Qanono, where all the shuttles converge, every day of the week.<\/p>\n

The involvement of landowners in this economic adventure allows for a good customary foundation which offers the stability that Korail knows.<\/p>\n

Its growth since then has been continuous: the objective of 7 jobs at its creation has today been largely achieved \u2013 and exceeded \u2013 with its 60 employees. An essentially local workforce, another of the objectives set and largely achieved.<\/p>\n

Values<\/h3>\n

Defending the purchasing power of Loyalty consumers.<\/p>\n

Defending the rights and duties of its employees by implementing an internal social policy co-managed with them: staff representatives, an end-of-the-year bonus, various bonuses along the year, taking into account the human dimension of its employees, etc.<\/p>\n

Ecological awareness: elimination of small free plastic bags, extremely polluting, in favor of large Korail cotton or burlap bags.<\/p>\n
